본 연구의 목적은 현재 초등학교에서 사용되고 있는 15종의 컴퓨터 교과서를 분석하여, 교과서의 장점 및 개선점을 알아봄으로써, 교사들의 교과서 사용에 도움을 주고, 앞으로의 개발 방향을 제시하는 것이다본 연구에서는 전국 초등학교 12학년 컴퓨터 교과서 15종에 대하여 평가 기준을 정하여 분석하였다. 평가 기준은 기존에 개발된 Schmidt의 일반 교과서 평가 기준과 교육인적자원부의 컴퓨터 교과서 심의 기준을 참조하여 내용 선정 및 조직에 대하여 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과, 대부분 교과서들이 활동 중심 학습, 문제 중심 학습 및 실습 중심 학습이다. 그리고 다양한 교수방법 및 활동을 제공한다. 그러나 협동 학습과 통합 학습 면에서 부족하다. 그리고 개별화 교수에 대한 고려가 부족하고 심화 및 보충학습 제공도 미흡하다.
Abstract
This study attempts to analyze fifteen computer textbooks for the first and second grades in Korea. The textbooks were analyzed by content selection and organization. Evaluation criteria from previous works were selected for this computer textbook study. By analyses of current computer textbooks, some textbooks have a large volume for first and second grade students, and they do not provide enough integration with other subjects. Also, the textbooks provide various activities, practices, and teaching methods, but they do not provide examples of cooperative learning. They do not provide for individual learning, advanced learning, or remedial learning.
