Abstract
So called "literary inquisition" is a projection of the totalitarianism on the culture policy under the dictatorship regime. In China, during thousand's years there has been a literary inquisition, especially during the Qing(淸) dynasty. In terms of literature policy, Mao Ze-dong has extremely highly praised the Lu-xun(魯迅) in the one hand, and in another hand, Mao has brutally suppressed numerous Chinese intellectuals. According to his own political struggle needs, Mao Ze-dong adopted different goal-directed Lu-Xun evalution in different historical stages. Name of Lu-Xun has been a tool of Mao Ze-dong with that Mao excluded many innocent Chinese famous literary authors. This paper pointed out that the disgusting effect of Mao's "literary inquisition" is not eliminated yet fully until now in contemporary China.
