누가의 문서에 나타난 기도의 신학 - 역사 변혁의 원동력으로서의 기도 -

역사를 통하여 역사 발전에 기여한 신자들은 대부분 기도를 통해 역사에 참여하여왔다. 그들은 기도를 통해 자신들의 역사적 삶 가운데에서 하나님의 뜻을 추구하였다. 그들의 역사에 대한 적극적인 참여는 기도와 그 기도에 대한 신적 응답으로 나타난 성령의 임재 결과였다고 할 수 있다. 신학자와 역사가로서 누가복음과 사도행전을 기록한 누가는 첫 1세기 동안 신자들이 하나님 나라의 확장을 위하여 그들의 역사적 상황 속에서 경험한 도전들에 어떻게 반응하였는가를 기록하고 있다. 전통적으로 신학자들은 누가의 두 문서에 나타난 기도와 성령의 사역을 구원사의 관점에서 해석하여왔다. 그러나 이 연구의 목적은 구원사의 관점을 일반 역사의 관점으로 확대하여 살피는 것이다. 다른 말로, 기도가 역사의 진보라는 관점에서 어떤 역할을 하는가를 살피는 것이 이 연구의 목적이다. 누가복음에서 누가는 첫째로, 기도는 역사의 진보를 진지하게 고려하는 사람들에게 있어서 삶의 우선 순위가 된다는 것을 강조한다. 둘째로, 누가는 기도에 헌신한 사람들이 자기중심적인 태도에서 이타적인 태도로 변화되는 경험을 하는 것을 묘사한다. 그 결과, 그들은 자신들의 삶을 역사 발전을 위해 헌신하게 되었다. 셋째로, 누가는 주기도문에 대한 가르침을 통하여 하나님의 나라를 위해 신자가 어떻게 기도해야 하는가를 가르치고 있다. 한편 사도행전에서 누가는 첫째로, 기도와 성령임재의 결과로 역사 가운에서 실현된 이상적 공동체에 대하여 묘사한다. 둘째로. 누가는 기도를 통하여 역사를 이끌어갈 지도자들을 세우는 과정을 기록한다. 셋째로, 누가는 기도의 결과로 성서적 가치관에 근거한 역사의 진보가 어떻게 이방 세계로 확장되는가를 제시한다.
Abstract
The believers who have contributed for the progress of the history mostly participated in the history through prayer. They prayed to seek God’s will in their life. Their active participation in history was the result of sincere prayer and the presence of the Sprit, which was given as God’s response to their prayer. Luke, who wrote the Gospel of Luke and Acts as a theologian and historian, recorded how the believers of the first century responded to the challenges of their life regarding the expansion of the kingdom of God in history. Conventionally, the scholars have interpreted the prayer life of the believers and the work of the Spirit in Luke’s two documents in terms of the salvation history (Heilsgeschichte) through the spreading of the Gospel. Yet, it is the goal of this research to expand the scope of the salvation history to that of general history. In other words, it is to see how the prayer works in perspective of the general history. Firstly, in the Gospel of Luke, Luke emphasizes that prayer should be the first priority of the believer if he or she sincerely considers the advancement of history. Secondly, Luke presents that believers who commit themselves for the prayer life experienced some authentic transformation from being selfish to living for others, which led them to dedicate themselves for the advancement of history. Thirdly, Luke stresses what kind of prayer the believers have to pray for the kingdom of God on earth. In Acts, Luke first describes the ideal community realized in history as a result of prayer and the presence of the Spirit upon believers. Luke then presents the process of selecting leaders through prayer who will lead history in the light of the Gospel. Finally, Luke records the process of history based on biblical values expanding to the gentle world as a result of prayer.
