위기상담시 인지요법에서 관계의 끈의 중요성 및 기호학적 방법의 활용

본 소고의 목적은 위기 상담에 있어서 인지 요법의 중요성 및 상담자와 내담자 사이의 관계의 끈의 중요성과 기호학적인 방법들을 상담 과정에서 적용하는 것을 제안하는 데 있다. 먼저는 오늘날 우리가 경험할 수 있는 위기가 어떠한 것이 있는 지를 살피면서, 위기 상담의 정의 및 절차를 생각해 보려고 한다. 특별히 위기를 맞이할 때에 인지 능력이 떨어지며 한 쪽으로 치우치기 쉽기에 이를 극복하기 위한 인지요법의 중요성을 이야기 하면서, 인지요법에 대하여 살피려 한다. 그런 후에는 인지요법의 핵심 내용인 인간의 사고가 변하면 인간의 정서도 변화될 수 있다는 가정 하에, 상담자와 내담자의 관계의 끈이 연결되는 것의 중요성을 강조하려 한다. 동시에 내담자의 사고 과정을 구성하고 있는 내담자에 의해 해석된 기호들이 가리키는 바가 무엇인지와 의미하는 바가 무엇인지를 구별하도록 돕는 기호학적 방법의 활용을 이야기하려 한다. 이는 내담자자의 삶의 중심에 있는 기호들에 대한 재해석을 돕고, 상상력 활용에 매우 유익하여 긍정적인 효과를 갖게 하기 때문이다. 이러한 기호학적인 방법들과 해석학적인 방법들을 가지고, 내담자가 오랫동안 지니고 왔던 담론들과 특별히 성서 안에 있는 담론들을 재해석 해주고, 연결시켜 주는 것이 목회적 돌봄의 중요한 자원들이 될 수 있을 것임을 주장할 것이다. 끝으로, 필자가 군종 목사로 있을 때에, 상담했던 병사의 사례 안에서, 관계의 끈의 중요성과 내담자의 중심에 있었던 기호들에 대한 재해석과 성서적 담론을 연결시켜서 긍정적인 시각 창출을 도왔던 것을 이야기하면서, 이론들의 활용이 유익함을 주장하려 한다.
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to insist on the importance of the ligature(connection string) of relationship between counselor and client, and to propose the possibility of using semiotic methods in the crisis counseling process. Above all, it is significant to apply the cognitive therapy in crisis counseling, because the client faced much difficulties in his life is easy to have the perverted perspectives for his problems. Without these efforts, he can choose false responses for his individual crisis situations. First of all, I want to try to study on the definition of crisis in contemporary world and the procedures in the process of crisis counseling. Confronted the crisis, A client is apt to lose insight for the solutions on problems. So I claim that the cognitive therapy is appropriate to correct the perverted perspectives in a client. And that the methods of semiotics is very helpful to analyse the problems in his life. It is very useful that the distinction between signifier and signified in signs which a client expresses his own thoughts in the processes of a crisis counseling conversation. The application of semiotic methods in crisis counseling can serve to understand clearly the core of serious problems a client have been experienced. The ligature in the relationship between a counselor and a client for crisis counseling not only keeps a client from suicide but also forms personal trust each other. After all, the thinking structure of a client is corrected by the influences which a counselor gives him. As a client’s emotions can be changed by the interpretations on the contents of his thinking processes, the attitudes of a client dealing the problems will be changed. The use of semiotics helps us to reinterpret the meaningful symbols in the center of the client's life, maybe it is very good to have a positive effects for his new life. Finally, through a example of crisis counseling with a soldier, when I was a chaplain in korea army, I test the methods written in this paper. it is realized to know the importance of the ligature of relationship, and the distinction between signifier and signified of symbols in a client, and the re-interpretation of the biblical discourses.
