아동의 열등감은 성장의 과정에서 부정적으로 작용으로 측면이 있다. 아동이 열등감을 갖게 되면 올바른 인격의 형성이나 일상의 생활을 하는 데에도 좋은 효과를 거두지 못할 뿐 아니라, 각종 심리 및 정신장애에 노출되는 경향이 있기 때문이다. 이런 점에 주목하여 본 연구는 아동에게 심리 및 정신장애의 문제로 이행되는 열등감의 원인을 알아보고, 그에 따른 치유 방안들을 상담심리학적으로 제시한다. 이러한 연구는 물론 성장의 과정 중에 있는 아동이 열등감에서 해방되어 자신감을 갖고 성장하도록 하기 위한 것이다. 이것은 상담심리학의 방법을 통해 아동의 낮은 자존감을 회복하게 함으로써 아동이 갖는 자신에 대한 모습들을 인정하고 받아들여서 긍정적인 자존감을 갖도록 돕고자 한다. 더 나아가 자아를 발견하도록 도와줌으로써 아동이 건강하지 못한 심리 및 정신을 회복할 수 있도록 하기 위함도 있다. 이는 아들러의 이론에 기대어 그 가능성을 밝히고, 그에 따른 적절한 대안을 상담심리학적으로 제시하는 것이 요청되는 실정이다. 알프레드 아들러(Alfred Adler)는 현대 심리학에서 심리 및 정신치료 뿐 아니라, 의식분석의 분야에서 인격연구의 특성을 발전시킨 사람이다. 그의 이론은 교육의 현장에서 적용되는 심리치료의 특이성을 가졌기에 아동의 교육과 밀접한 연관성을 가진 것으로 유명하다. 특히 아들러의 심리학은 정신의 수동적인 특성에 머무르지 않고 능동성을 일깨워 심리학의 주관적인 접근에서 선구적인 역할을 한 것으로 알려진다. 이런 점을 고려하여 본 연구에서는 아들러의 개인심리학을 통해 아동의 심리적인 문제가 되는 열등감의 해결책을 강구하는데 중점을 둔다.
Abstract
Inferiority of the child has a negative side effects in the growing process. If the child has an inferiority complex, not only has the problem in the formation of personality and daily life, but also tends to expose to various psychological and psychiatric disorders. To pay attention to this point, the study investigates the cause of the inferiority complex that leads psychological problems and mental disorders for the child and presents counseling-psychological healing methods accordingly. Of course, this study is for the child to free from inferiority complex and to grow in confidence. Through counseling-psychology method, the child recovers his/her low self-esteem so that has a positive self-esteem by recognizing and accepting his/her self image. Furthermore, it is also for the child to recover psychological and mental unhealthy by helping the child to discover his/her ego. The study, based on the theory of Adler (Alfred Adler), reveals its possibility and presents reasonable alternative in counseling-psychology accordingly. Alfred Adler is the one who developed the special character of the personality study in the areas of psychology, psychotherapy and consciousness analysis in modern psychology. His theory is well known for the close relationship with children education. Because the theory has peculiarity of psychotherapy which is applicable in education field. In particular, the psychology of Adler is known to have a pioneering role in the subjective approach of psychology by enlightening the activeness of the spirit, not staying in the passive nature of it. Considering this, the study focuses on finding a solution of the inferiority complex which causes children's psychological problems through Adler's individual psychology.
