집단따돌림은 지금 이 시대를 살아가는 사람들의 주된 관심사가 되고 있다. 집단따돌림은 이 시대에 갑자기 드러난 현상은 아니며 오래 전부터 여러 다른 형태로 이어져 왔다. 집단따돌림은 가족, 학교, 직장에서도 나타나는 현상이며 종종 교회 내에서도 집단 따돌림은 경험되어 진다. 집단따돌림으로 인하여 심각한 피해자가 되었던 사람들은 학교 내에서 처음 상처를 입게 되는 경우가 대부분이다. 학교는 지식 배움의 목적 외에 건강한 소속감을 갖기 위한 목표를 이루기 위해 학생들이 모인 장소이다. 그러나 학교에서 집단따돌림의 문제가 발생하고, 피해자인 학생들이 인간관계에서의 소속감을 경험하기 보다는 좌절을 경험하고 있는 것이 오늘날의 현상이다. 이러한 현상을 극복해보고자 많은 연구자들이 집단따돌림 현상을 분석하기 위해 노력하였고 대다수의 연구자들은 집단따돌림 현상을 사회 구조적인 문제로 해석하였다. 물론 사회구조적인 문제도 집단 따돌림의 중요한 원인일 수 있을 것이다. 그러나 집단따돌림을 경험한 피해자 개인의 관점에서 이들에게 집단 따돌림 경험이 되풀이되지 않도록 예방하는 시도도 필요하다. 이러한 시도를 위해 청소년기에 겪은 집단따돌림의 피해 경험을 대학생활에서까지 반복 경험하며 자기개념과 자아존중감에 상처를 입은 대학생 내담자들의 기독교 상담 사례를 분석하려 한다. 이를 통해 기독교 상담자와 교회 공동체가 집단 따돌림을 경험한 이들에게 어떠한 목회적 돌봄과 상담을 해줄 수 있을지에 관하여 제언하고자 한다.
Abstract
Adolescent bullying has become a major concern of the people now living in this age. The phenomenon of group bulling is not a phenomenon suddenly revealed in this age, but has been connected to various forms for a long time. The phenomenon of group bulling appears in the family, school, and workplace. Also it might appear in the church. But we should focus on that most of the people who suffer as victims of group bullying, have for the first time experienced it during their school days. The school is a place that students learn knowledge and aims that students form a sense of healthy communities. However, it is a very sad reality that the problem of group bullying occurs in school and the victim students experience frustration rather than experiencing healthy belonging in human relations. To overcome the phenomenon of group bullying, many researchers tried to analyze this phenomenon and the majority of the researchers interpreted it as a social structural problem. Of course, social structural problems can be an important cause of group bullying. However, it is necessary to them in terms of individual victims who attempt to prevent repeated bullying experience. For this purpose, I would like to analyze cases of Christian counseling of a university student who was hurt self-concept & self-esteem by repeated experience of victimization of adolescent bullying. In this way, I will suggest what kind of pastoral care and counseling can be given to those who have experienced group bullying by christian counselors and church communities.
