한국교회에 필요한 교회개척 방법은 개교회의 성장보다 하나님 나라의 확장에 초점을 둔 분립개척이 효과적이면서도 바람직하다. 분립개척이란 첫째는 재정지원뿐 아니라 성도들을 보내 교회개척에 참여하도록 하고. 둘째, 분립개척 후에는 모교회로부터 완전히 독립된 교회로서 자율성을 갖으며, 셋째, 모교회가 개척 목회자를 선발하여 파송하는 것을 말한다. 분립개척은 하나님 나라와 선교적 교회에 신학적 근거를 두고 있다. 하나님 나라의 관점에서 접근할 때 지역교회는 대형교회의 우상을 버리고 하나님 나라의 성장을 추구하는 분립개척에 참여하게 된다. 선교적 교회로의 정체성 인식은 세상에 보냄받은 유기체로서 성육신적으로 희생을 감수하며 교회를 낳는 교회로 나아가도록 한다. 본 연구는 선한목자교회, 제자들교회, 그리고 선한목자교회에서 분립개척한 함께하는교회를 사례연구하였다. 선한목자교회는 대형교회의 사례로, 제자들교회는 중소형교회의 사례로 선택하였으며, 함께하는교회는 분립개척된 교회의 사례를 보여준다. 연구를 통해 얻은 통찰은. 첫째, 효과적인 분립개척을 위해선 방법론보다 모교회 담임목사의 목회철학과 목회 시스템의 공유가 중요하고, 둘째, 분립개척은 하나님 나라와 선교적 교회의 신학과 실천이 바탕이 되어야 하며, 셋째, 인력과 재정지원 규모, 예배당의 입지 같은 외부적 요인이 좋은 결과를 보장하진 못한다는 것이다. 또한, 작게 시작하여 점진적으로 사역과 예배당을 확대해가는 것이 안정적 성장에 도움이 되고, 다섯째, 성도 파송과 재정지원 방법은 다양한 접근이 가능하다. 여섯째, 분립개척은 수동적인 성도가 능동적인 제자로 성장하는데 효과적인 방편이 될 수 있고, 일곱째, 교회 분립개척이 불신자 전도로 직결되는 것은 아님을 확인할 수 있었다. 다만, 불신자 전도와 관련해서는 더 많은 데이터와 추가적인 연구가 필요하다.
Abstract
The needed church planting method in Korean churches is a hiving off focusing on expanding the Kingdom of God rather than the church growth. This study defines hiving off with three conditions. First, a mother church not only financially supports but also sends members; Second, after hiving off, a new church has autonomy as a completely independent church; and third, it refers to the case of the mother church selecting and sending a planting pastor. Hiving off church planting is based on theological basis in the Kingdom of God and the missional church. When approached from the perspective of the Kingdom of God, local churches abandon the idol of megachurches and participate in the hiving off and the growth of the Kingdom of God. The recognition of self-identity as a missional church is an organism sent to the world, and it leads to a church that produces a church at the expense of incarnational sacrifice. This case study selected the Good Shepherd Church as an example of a large church, the Disciples' Church as an example of a small and medium-sized church, and the Church With You as an example of a planted church. This study researched Good Shepherd Church, Disciples Church, and Church With You. The seven insights gained from the study. First, learning the pastor's ministry philosophy and its system is more important than the methodology; second, the hiving off should be based on the theology and practice of the Kingdom of God and missional church. Third, external factors like membership size, financial support, and church location do not guarantee good results. Fourth, starting small and gradually expanding the ministry is helpful for stable growth. Fifth, various approaches are possible regarding sending members and financial support. Sixth, passive saints can grow into active disciples through hiving off church planting. Seventh, the hiving off is not directly linked to evangelism. More data and researches are needed regarding evangelism through hiving off.
