전국자연환경(지형)조사 전문인력 양성 프로그램을 위한 현장실습 교육자료 개발

Abstract

With the area covered by the national natural environment survey to be expanded beginning 2010, the number of experts mobilized for environmental surveys has increased significantly. Accordingly, a short-term training program for environment experts was suggested; through this, a total of 290 topographic survey experts is expected to be cultivated during the period 2009~2012. Note, however, that the training program will be implemented in a short period of time. Moreover, the majors and the age groups of the trainees are extremely diverse. Due to the nature of the purpose of this program, the success of the program can be said to be dependent on how we can carry out effective field practices during such a short period. What we can consider in this respect are the selection of the standard topographic view (tentative name) and production of the standard topographic book (tentative name) as auxiliary training materials. If we select and use the standard topographic view from among the 98 topographic views presented in the natural environment survey table, we believe we can get good results from such short-term field practices alone. There is a need for the more systematic and joint selection of such standard topographic views by the Korea Geomorphological Association and the Ministry of Environment (National Institute of Environmental Research) by organizing a “Standard topographic view selection and standard topographic book publication committee” (tentative name).
