계룡 대실지구 풍수환경도시건설을 위한 풍수적 연구

Abstract

This article is on a research model, which is an feng-shui(風水) environmental urban development project. That object area is Gyeryong(鷄龍) Daesil(垈室) section in the Chungcheongnam-do(忠淸南道). This city, Gyeryong is raised in status as a city in 2003. Gyeryong Daesil section maps out the completion of city plan throughout the scientific research service for 2 years(2006-2007), which is sponcered by Korea Land Corporation(韓國土地公社). Especially, this project is going to plan as a feng-shui environmental city, a environmentally sound and continuous developmental model. It is various to express a city-planning technique. Among various ones, this project is intended to apply traditional one, feng-shui theory. According to feng-shui theory, I could extract some indispensable factors composing a feng-shui ideal space. Those are ‘the shape of a green tract of land’ as a green network, ‘the flow of water’ as a blue network, and ‘the goodness of a direction’. If it follows from this framework, approximately, Daesil section‘s the head range, a branch of a Cheoun-Ho Mt. should be protected at most. And the Junction of two streams should be decorated by Bi-Bo forest(裨補숲). And the present’s public cemetery as a feng-shui concept is Gwa-Ho(瓜瓠), which can be developed by commercial or administrative districts. 388 역사민속학 제 24호투고일 : 2007년 5월 4일 / 심사완료일 2007년 6월 10일Despite of this basic plan, it is still left the limit of development and actually economical efficiency. That is, feng-shui conceptual city plan may be over-ideal. But the invitation of that in itself is only meaningful in the rapid growth ages. Because that attitude is to recognize and respect the nature’s inherent power.
