Thisstudy aimsto suggestan energy consumption improvementplan foruniversity buildingsthrough an analysisofenergyconsumption.Uponasimulationofsubjectbuildingtointerpretenergyconsumption,itwas foundthat154.07kWh/㎡ ofenergyisconsumptedannually.Improvementofdesignelementscancutdownthe energyconsumptionto135.61kWh/㎡ accordingtoanenergyreductionanalysisrelatedtoenvelopeperformance improvement.Additionalimprovementoflightsandheatexchangercan curtailannualenergy consumption to 108.32kWh/㎡.Also,ananalysisofenergyconsumptionwhileincreasingindoortemperaturegraduallyshowedthat thetwofactorsareinproportion.6℃ highertemperaturerequiresovertwiceofthecurrentenergy.Basedonthis surveyresult,performanceimprovementduetobuildingmanagementandenvelopeelementswhichinfluenceto buildingcoolingandheatingloadscancurtailbuildingenergyconsumption.
