이 연구는 농업계 학생의 농산업 분야 진로선택의향 실태를 분석하고 그 관련 요인이 무엇인지 탐색하였다. 농고·농대생에 대한 질문지를 이용한 조사를 실시하여 최종적으로 농업계 고등학생 1,511명, 농업계 대학생 500명이 조사되었다. 빈도, 백분율 등의 기초통계 분석과 교차 분석, 이항 로지스틱 회귀분석 추리통계치 분석을 하였다. 분석 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 도출할 수 있었다. 첫째, 농업계 학생 중에 농산업분야로 진로를 선택하고자 하는 의향이 있는 학생은 실제 농산업분야 취·창업자보다 많았다. 둘째, 농고생과 농대생의 농산업 진로선택의향 실태와 관련 요인은 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 농업계 학생들의 농산업 진로선택의향에 있어 중요한 관련 요인은 학생 부모의 농산업 진출에 대한 태도, 농산업 지식 및 경험 등이었다. 후속 연구로 농림 생산, 농림 투입재, 농림식품 가공, 외식, 농림 유통, 농림 서비스 등의 부문별 진로선택과 관련된 구체적인 연구를 제안하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate agricultural high school and college students’ intention of vocational selection in agri-industrial sector and to analyze its related variables. For the purpose, this study carried out survey of 1,511 agricultural high school students, and 500 agricultural college undergraduates. The conclusions are as follows. The number of agricultural students who has intention of career selection in agri-industrial sector was larger than the number of actual agricultural graduates who were employed in agri-industrial sector. Agricultural highschool students’ intention of career selection in agri-industrial sector and its related variable were different from those of agricultural college undergraduates. The important factors of agricultural students’ intention of career selection in agri-industrial sector were the parents’ attitude toward their children’s career selection in agri-industrial sector, and the students’ agricultural work-related experiences. In addition, future studies on career selection in specific agri-industrial sectors including farm industry, agricultural input industry, agricultural product processing, logistics, and market industry, and agricultural service industry were suggested.
