이 연구의 목적은 마이스터고 신입생이 인식하고 있는 고등학교 진학동기를 확인하고 이에 따른 학교생활 만족도 및 졸업 후 취업계획을 분석함으로써, 이들의 원활한 학교생활 적응 및 진로개발을 지원하기 위한 시사점을 도출하는데 있었다. 이를 위해 2016학년도에 입학한 마이스터고 신입생 860명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 분석 결과 마이스터고 진학동기에 따라 진학 의사결정 과정과 방법, 학교생활 만족도와 졸업 후 취업계획 등에서 유의미한 차이가 있음을 확인하였다. 이러한 분석 결과를 토대로 마이스터고 신입생의 대상별 특성에 따른 체계적인 진로지도 프로그램 운영, 직업교육 분야 및 마이스터고에 대한 중학교 시기 진로지도 강화, 마이스터고 졸업생의 노동시장 이행 이후 성장경로 구축 등을 제안하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to draw implications which are used to support school life and career development of Meister high school freshman by identifying their school satisfaction and employment plans after graduation based on their high school enterance Motivation. To achieve these purposes, we conducted a survey of Meister high school freshman in 2016, and the survey results showed that there were significant differences on decision-making process for entering Meister high school, school satisfaction and employment plans after graduation based on the high school enterance Motivation. Through these findings, we proposed several suggestions such as 1) operating career guidance program customized target-specific characteristics, 2) strengthening career guidance about vocational education and Meister school for middle school students, 3) building the career path of Meister high school graduates after entering labor market.
