Abstract
The aim of study was to elucidate the antibiosis of the Sophora Radixextracts by ethanol solvent onbacteriasThe antibiosis on bacterias was examined in moisture water included the Sophora Radixextract.The results are as follows;Minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of Sopora Radixextracts showed markedly lower on grampositive bacterias(0.0125~0.025) such as aureus, B. subtilis, S. epidermidsthan that on gram negativebacterias such as E. coli, P. aeruginosa(>10)The MIC of moisture water included the Sophora Radiixwhich extracted by ethanol solvent was verylow which meaned good antibiosis(0.0063~0.5). The antibiosis of moisture water included the SophoraRadiixwas improved by adding the ethanol on some baterias.In conclusion, Sophora Radixhad excellent antibacterial effect.Therefore, it is expected that Sophora Radix can be practically used as the natural material offunctional cosmetics for preventing the Bacterial inhibitory in skin.
