초록

본 연구의 목적은 다음과 같이 정하였다. (1) 새로운 대규모 투자사업의 입지가 특정 지역에 선정됨으로써 국민경제 전반에 미치는 제반 파급효과 분석을 위한 모형을 산업연관분석을 토대로 하여 개발하고자 한다. (2) 분석 모형의 개발은 투입계수 부분 활용법, 투입계수 완전 활용법, 기존 부문에 신규 사업 추가법으로 대별하여 설정하였다. (3) 국민경제에 미치는 다양한 파급효과(총산출유발효과, 고용유발효과, 소득유발효과 등) 추계는 모의실험 분석을 활용하였다. 모의실험의 구체적인 대상은 제22부문(정보 및 통신부문)으로 하였다. 아울러 유발효과 상호간의 상관도를 파악하기 위하여 피어슨 상관계수()와 스피어맨 순위상관계수()를 각각 계산하였다.모의실험을 위한 기초 자료는『2013년 산업연관표』이며, 내생부문의 수는 30 통합 기본부문으로 하였다. 최종수요에 대한 생산유발계수행렬()는 국산과 수입을 통합한 형으로 하였다. 경험적 분석은 제22부문(정보 및 통신부문)에 새로운 대규모 투자사업이 시행될 경우를 가정하여 ① 총산출 추가 증분에 따른 각종 유발효과, ② 신규 최종수요 발생에 따른 총산출유발효과, 고용 및 소득유발효과를 각각 추계하였다. 최종수요 추가 증분()에 의한 총산출유발효과는 제22부문이, 고용유발효과는 제26부문(사업지원서비스)이, 소득유발효과는 제19부문(도소매서비스)이 각각 제1순위를 보여주고 있다.

Abstract

Since input-output (IO) analysis was first pioneered by W. Leontief, (1906-1999), a Russian-born American economist who received the 1973 Nobel Prize in Economics for “the sole and unchallenged creator of the input-output model” in the early 1930s, a number of improvements on methodologies, techniques and applications has been made so far. Among them, the IO model provides a framework within which to assess the economic impact associated with the introduction of a new mega-investment project on the national economy. Based on the latest research findings and results from the new mega-investment project in the recent IO literature, the specific objectives of this paper can be summarized shortly as follows. (1) Based on the information and communication sector, we conduct the economic impact analysis affected on the national economy in the new mega-investment project and develop the IO model for this impact assessment involved. (2) We develop the model buildings with three different methods: ① the partial inclusion method in the technical coefficients matrix, ② the full inclusion method in the technical coefficients matrix, and ③ the new firm in an existing industry. (3) We empirically calculate the varied inducement effects on output, employment and income by using the simulation analysis on the basis of endogenous sector 22 (information and communication sector) from the IO database on the Korean economy 2013 collected and compiled by the BOK.
