Abstract

The Inquiry On a School Unification Education Curriculum PlanCha, Woo-KyuKorea Institute of Curriculum & EvaluationIt is important that the real unification between South and North Korea should be theunity of institution, law, and system. But it is very necessary to the education let theadolescence acknowledge and be feel to the necessity of objective understanding, mutualrespects, feeling of national identity, and necessity of unification etc. For this, above all, itshould be systematically prepared a proposal on unification education curriculum to us. As tothis necessity, it has been systematically efforted to make a proposal on unification educationcurriculum of elementary, middle, and high school level in this study.To summary the results of this study is as follows. First, it has been divided contentdomains of school unification education to five in this a tentative plan, that is feeling ofnational identity, understanding of North Korea, understanding of unification environment,exercise of freedom-democracy, pursuits of peace and love in human. And this study proposedsystematically topics dealed with as to achievement domains(large domain, middle domain,small domain). Secondary, we are to remove the problem of content overlap and preponderance
