연구는 애착, 학교폭력 피해경험, 분노, 학교폭력 가해경험 간의 구조적 관계를 확인하고 그것이 남녀에 따라서 어떠한 차이가 있는지 확인하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 먼저, 학교 폭력 피해경험, 분노가 애착과 학교폭력 가해경험 간의 관계에서 매개변수로 작용할 것이라는 선행 이론에 근거하여 부분매개모형과 완전매개모형을 도출하였다. 그러고 실제 자료가 이론적으로 도출한 인과모형을 얼마나 지지해 주는지 구조방정식을 통해 확인하였다. 또한 학교폭력 관련변수들 간의 구조적 관계가 남녀에 따라서 어떠한 차이가 있는지도 분석하였다. 연구대상은 중학교 2학년 2,448명(남학생 1,303명, 여학생 1,145명)이었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 학교폭력 피해경험과 가해경험에 대해 애착은 부적인 영향을 미치고 학교폭력 가해경험에 대해 학교폭력 피해경험과 분노는 정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 애착은 학교폭력 피해경험, 분노를 매개로 하여 학교폭력 가해경험에 영향을 주었다. 셋째, 분노에 대한 애착과 학교폭력 피해경험의 직접효과는 여학생이 남학생보다 더 컸지만 학교폭력 가해경험에 대한 분노의 직접효과는 남학생이 훨씬 더 컸다. 넷째, 분노에 대한 애착의 전체효과는 여학생이 남학생보다 더 컸지만 학교 폭력 가해경험에 대한 애착의 전체효과는 오히려 남학생이 여학생보다 더 컸다. 학교폭력이 중학교 이후에 지속적으로 증가할 수 있다는 점을 고려한다면, 구조모형의 학년 간 비교냐 종단연구를 통한 다각적인 분석이 후속적으로 수행될 필요가 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of the present study is to examine the structural relationship between attachment, the experience of bully, anger, and the victimization experience of school violence and to investigate gender difference in the structural relationship. First, a partial and complete mediation model were employed based on the theory that the experience of bully and anger may behave as mediator variables in relation to attachment and the victimization experience of school violence. This study investigates how much actual data support a causal model theoretically obtained through a structural equation model. Also, the study looks into whether the structural relationships between relevant variables of the experience of bully are different by sex. 2,448 second graders in middle school participated in the current study. The results of the study are as follows. First, attachment had a negative effect in the victimization experience of school violence and the experience of bully. However, both the victimization experience of school violence and anger had a positive effect in the experience of bully. Second, attachment was found to influence on the experience of the bully through the victimization experience of school violence and anger. Third, female students were more sensitive to attachment toward anger and the direct effect of the victimization experience of school violence than male ones. However, the male students were more sensitive to the direct effect of anger toward the experience of the bully than their counterparts. Fourth, the total effect of attachment toward anger influenced females more than males. Considering the fact that school violence may steadily increase after middle school, the comparison of a structural model between a different grade level or the diversified analyses via a longitudinal study are believed to be worth examining.
