Abstract

A study on the relationship between the teachersefficacy and the students achievementKang, Jung-WonShinheung CollegeThe purpose of this study was to uncover relationship between the teachers efficacy andthe students achievement. To Attain the purpose this study established the following researchtopics: 1) correlations between teachers efficacy and students achievement, 2) effects ofteachers efficacy on students achievement, 3) effects of teachers efficacy on studentsachievement according to students grade.This study administrated 253 homeroom teachers and 623 students in 2nd, 4nd, 6nd from17schools located in Seoul. The measuring instruments are divided into two, one for teachersand another for students. The instruments for teachers are questionnaire about teachers efficacy.And the questionnaire for the students is about student achievement test for Korean languageand Mathematics.
