한일 대학생활협동조합의 특징 비교

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to compare the characteristics of university consumers’ cooperatives in Korea and Japan. The characteristics are used to seek the present events and developing plans for the university consumers’ cooperative in Korea. Welfare environment is changed drastically in Korea. The developing plans for the university consumers’ cooperative in Korea are as follows.First, the role of the university consumers’ cooperative should contribute to student growth. The university is not the only place to learn. It is a place for character building through fraternity, sorority, or school activities. Second, it should contribute to development for liberal education. Support for life of university member itself is to support the liberal education. Third, it should contribute to cooperation community. The university consumers’ cooperative is the only establishment for all members at university, and members of the cooperative have equal right. Fourth, it is a nonprofit organization. Profits by the cooperative at university should be restored for university members and university. All joined organizations for the cooperative try to solve problems occurred continuously with sacrificing itself to preserve its integrity. After all, the main body to lead the university consumers’ cooperative is members of the university as a investor, manager, and consumer.
