본 연구의 목적은 한국의 성공 벤처 기업가들이 평가한 벤처기업의 성공요인을 구명하는 것이다. 이를 위해 연구자들과 전문가들로 구성된 패널이 성공한 벤처기업인 19인을 선정해 이들과 심층 인터뷰와 설문조사를 병행하여 실시했다. 설문지는 기존 연구결과와 기업가들이 제시하는 성공요인, 그리고 연구자들이 평가한 성공요인을 종합하여 작성되었다. 설문의 내용은 총론적으로는 벤처기업의 핵심 성공요인에 관한 질문이고 각론적으로는 창업에 성공하기 위해 요구되는 기업가 특성과 기업 전략에 관한 질문이 포함되어 있다. 질적 연구방법과 양적 연구방법을 병행하여 벤처기업의 성공요인을 조사한 결과 본 연구는 기존 연구들과 여러 가지 면에서 공통점과 차이점을 발견할 수 있었다. 이에 대한 자세한 내용은 연구의 한계점과 더불어 결론 부분에 제시하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to identify success factors of venture start-up assessed by successful entrepreneurs. For this purpose, we implemented in-depth interviews and research works on entrepreneurs who were selected by a panel. The panel is made up of researchers and specialists. Questionnaires were prepared by integrating previous research results, opinions of entrepreneurs, and assessment of researchers. Questions are categorized into two: (1) on the key success factors of venture start-up and (2) on the characteristics of entrepreneurs and strategies required for success. As a result, both qualitative and quantitative research method were utilized to determine success factors and compare them with earlier research results. A detailed discussion on these results is presented in the conclusion. The limitations of this research are also presented in the conclusion.
