Abstract

Recently social responsibility has been emphasized in Korea. Although most discussion on this issue has been made mainly on the big size firms, small/medium size firm cases should be considered as well because such firms have significant impacts on the Korean economy. Especially, since small/medium size companies have their own characteristics, a discussion on the social responsibilities of small/ medium firms should be made differently from those of big companies. This study suggests several propositions on the motivation of social responsibility behavior, supply chain, visibility, and types of shareholders.
