장애인관은 장애인의 복지, 인권, 교육에 가장 중요하고도 본질적인 영향을 미치며 장애인을 위한 성공적인 삶에도 중요한 요인이 된다. 이에 본 연구의 목적은 장애인관의 역사적 변화와 차별적 장애인관의 배후사상을 분석하여 바람직한 장애인관의 정립에 기여하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 방법은 장애인관에 관련된 문헌 검토를 통해 이루워졌다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같았다: 장애인관의 역사적 내력은 부정적, 차별적인 장애인관으로 일관되었다. 장애인관의 발전과정은 의학적 관점, 경제학적 관점, 사회.정치학적 관점으로 변화되어 왔다. 차별적 장애인간의 배후사상은 사회 진화론 및 우생학, 낙인 및 편견, 자본.생산성.상품이론, 재활이론, 장애발생론으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과에서 나타난 시대별 장애인관의 변화를 미루어볼 때 미래사회의 장애인관 역시 현대적 의미의 장애인관과는 다를 것이라는 것을 암시하고 있다. 미래사회의 장애인은 사랑이 없는 사람, 인습.편견.왜곡.고정관념에 사로잡힌 사람이 될 것으로 보인다.
Abstract
Having righteous viewpoint for people with disabilities is important and essential to welfare, human rights, and education for people with disabilities, and is a precondition to successful life for these people. The purposes of this study were to analyse overall history about viewpoint for people with disabilities, background thoughts, and to contribute establishing righteous viewpoint for people with disabilities. The methods of this study was primarily literature review related to viewpoint for people with disabilities. The results of this study were as follows: The history about viewpoint for people with disabilities were generally negative. The developmental process of viewpoint for people with disabilities was changed from medical viewpoint to economical viewpoint, and to social․political viewpoint orderly. The background thoughts of differential viewpoint for people with disabilities were social evolution theory and egugenics, stigma and prejudice, capital․productivity․commodity theory, rehabilitation theory, and etiology theory of disability. These results suggests that viewpoint for people with disabilities in future society will be also changed. Thus, It is thought that people with disabilities in future society will be people without love, people with thoughts preoccupied to prejudice and distortion, convention.
