RA-RCP 읽기 유창성 소검사의 점자판(Braille Version)에 대한 신뢰도와 타당도 검증

본 연구는 국내에 점자 사용 학생의 읽기 유창성 수준을 측정할 수 있는 신뢰할만한 읽기 유창성 검사 도구가 없다는 문제 의식에서 시작하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 국내에서 널리 사용하는 표준화 읽기 검사도구인 RA-RCP의 읽기 유창성 소검사가 점자판으로 점역하여 사용할 때에도 신뢰도와 타당도가 일반화될 수 있는지를 확인하는데 주목적이 있다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 신뢰도는 내적합치도인 Cronbach의 알파 값이 α=.991, 검사-재검사 신뢰도 계수가 r=.990～996으로 만족스러운 수준으로 나타났다. 둘째, 타당도는 수렴타당도 검증을 위한 RA-RCP 문단글 읽기 유창성과 KOLRA 낱말 읽기 유창성 점수 간의 상관계수는 r=.931이었고, 점자 읽기 유창성 관련 준거 변인들과의 관계는 학년이 올라가고 점자 학습 기간이 길어지고 학업 능력이 우수할수록 점자 읽기 유창성이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이것은 RA-RCP 읽기 유창성 소검사의 점자판이 점자 사용 학생에게도 점역하여 사용할 수 있는 신뢰롭고 타당한 읽기 유창성 검사 도구임을 증명하는 것이다. 다만 RA-RCP의 읽기 유창성 소검사가 묵자 규준 점수만을 마련하고 있으므로, 동 학년의 점자 사용 학생과 비교하여 점자 읽기 유창성 수준을 확인할 수 있는 유용한 검사로 활용되려면 점자 규준 점수를 추가로 개발하는 후속 연구가 진행되어야 할 것이다.
Abstract
This study aimed to examine the reliability and validity of the braille version of RA-RCP reading fluency sub-test. The subjects were 139 blind students of 12 schools for the visual impaired from the first grade through 12th grade. The instrument for measuring a reading fluency was used the reading fluency sub-test of RA-RCP. The results of the study are as follows:First, Cronbach’s α and test-retest reliability coefficient were more than 0.9Second, concurrent validity between the word fluency of KOLRA and the reading fluency of RA-RCP were found significant correlations. And It tended to increase depending on the grade and the learning period of braille. So, the reliability and validity of the braille version of RA-RCP Reading Fluency assessment were demonstrated satisfactory level.
