장애아동 주양육자의 자기효능감 및 사회적 지지가 가족탄력성에 미치는 영향

본 연구에서는 장애아동 주양육자가 인지하는 자기효능감, 사회적 지지와 가족탄력성의 정도를 살펴보고 가족탄력성에 이들 변수가 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 실시하였다. 연구대상은 U지역 8개 장애아전담 보육시설, 복지관 및 장애인부모회에 등록된 18세 이하의 장애아동 부모 278명이었다. 수집된 자료는 연구목적에 따라 빈도와 백분율, 피어슨 상관관계, t검증, F검증, 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과 장애아동 주양육자의 탄력성에 영향을 미치는 요인은 월수입, 자기효능감, 사회적 지지로 나타났으며 이들 변수가 가족탄력성을 15.6% 설명하였다. 즉 월수입이 많을수록, 자기효능감과 사회적 지지가 높을수록 가족탄력성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 장애아동 가족의 탄력성을 향상시키기 위해서는 장애아동을 돌보는 주양육자의 자기효능감을 증진시키고 사회적 지지를 제공하는 전략이 필요함을 시사해준다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identify how self-efficacy and social support affect the family resilience in caregivers of children with disabilities. Caregivers assuming parenting responsibilities for children with disabilities under 18 yr of age were recruited at 8 local welfare centers, homes for children with disabilities, and parent associations in U city. They were asked to complete a questionnaire in a face to face interview or by self-report, and 278 data units were analyzed with hierarchical multiple regression . The results indicated that self-efficacy, social support and monthly income were statistically significant explaining 15.6% of the variance. Self-efficacy(β=.30, t=2.50) and social support(β=.16, t=4.70) significantly influenced family resilience. Among the general characteristics, monthly income(β==.13, t=2.02) was found to be significantly related to family resilience. From the results of this study I proposed the implementation of programs to increase resilience in caregivers of children with disabled children that emphasizes self-efficacy and social support.
