초록
The purpose of this study is to examine whether the two dimensions of behavioral features of ADHD, described by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders-Ⅳ (DSM-Ⅳ), are applicable for Korean children with the disorder. The behavior of 1,663 Korean elementary school children (904 boys and 759 girls) was rated by their 48 teachers using a 5-point scale questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed by using confirmatory factor analysis. Although DSM-Ⅳ proposes a two factor-model to explain the behavioral features of ADHD, our study results indicate that a three‐factor model of ADHD may be more applicable for Korean children with ADHD.
