본 연구에서는 우리나라 한 보험회사를 중심으로 업무특성과 공간구조의 물리적 특성간의 관계를 실증적으로 분석했다. 실증분석을 위하여 해당 보험회사의 6개 층의 업무공간과 6개 층에 근무하는 사무근로자를 현장실측과 관찰기법이 가미된 설문조사를 통하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 빈도분석, 평균분석, 분산분석, 신뢰도분석, 요인분석, 회귀분석 등을 통하여 실증적으로 분석되었다. 분석결과에 따르면 워크스테이션 면적의 경우 직책과 근속년수가 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 팀원들까지 거리의 경우는 근속년수, 업무의 다양성 및 업무의 상호의존성이 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 근속년수가 길어질수록 업무의 다양성이 높아질수록 팀장까지 거리가 짧아지는 것으로 나타났다. 통제적 통합도의 경우는 직책이, 물리적 통합도의 경우는 근속년수가 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
This study empirically analyzed the relationships between work characteristics and physical properties of workplace focusing on a Korean insurance company. For the empirical analysis, we collected the data about the six floors(office and office-workers) of the insurance company through measuring the workplace layout and survey the office-workers with partial observation. To analyze the data we performed Frequency Analysis, t-Test, ANOVA, Reliability Analysis, Factor Analysis, and Regression. From the analyses, we obtain the following results. Job position and tenure affect workstation size significantly. Tenure, work variety and work analyzability affect the distance between workers significantly. As tenure increases the distance to team leader decreases. Job position effects control value, and tenure physical integration significantly.
