북한이탈주민의 외상경험과 심리적안녕감의 관계에서 외상후스트레스장애의 매개효과

초록

본 연구는 북한이탈주민의 외상경험이 심리적안녕감에 미치는 영향과 외상후스트레스장애의 매개효과를 알아보기 위하여 수행되었다. 데이터 수집을 위하여 눈덩이 샘플링 방법을 사용하여 수집된 300개의 설문지 중 285개의 데이터를 분석에 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0과 SmartPLS 3.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 북한이탈주민의 외상경험은 외상후스트레스장애에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 반면, 북한이탈주민의 외상경험은 심리적안녕감에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났고, 북한이탈주민의 외상후스트레스장애는 심리적안녕감에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 북한이탈주민의 북한에서의 외상경험과 심리적안녕감의 관계에서 외상후스트레스장애의 매개효과는 통계적으로 유의한 수준으로 나타났으며, 95% 신뢰구간의 하한 값과 상한 값(-0.275≤Effects≤-0.132)에 ‘0’을 포함하지 않는 것으로 나타나 매개효과는 유의하였다. 북한이탈주민의 북한이탈과정에서의 외상경험과 심리적안녕감의 관계에서 외상후스트레스장애의 매개효과 역시 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났으며, 이 역시 95% 신뢰구간의 하한 값과 상한 값(-0.190≤Effects≤-0.064)에 ‘0’을 포함하지 않는 것으로 나타나 매개효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다.

Abstract

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of traumatic experiences of North Korean defectors on psychological well-being and the mediating effect of post-traumatic stress disorder. For data collection, 285 data out of 300 questionnaires collected using the snowball sampling method were used for analysis. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and SmartPLS 3.0. As a result of the study, first, it was found that the trauma experience of North Korean defectors had a statistically significant effect on post-traumatic stress disorder, whereas the trauma experience of North Korean defectors did not have a statistically significant effect on psychological well-being. Post-traumatic stress disorder of North Korean defectors was found to have a statistically significant effect on psychological well-being. Second, the mediating effect of post-traumatic stress disorder was statistically significant in the relationship between traumatic experiences of North Korean defectors and psychological well-being, and the lower and upper limits of the 95% confidence interval (-0.275≤Effects≤-0.132) did not contain '0', so the mediating effect was significant. The mediating effect of post-traumatic stress disorder was also found to be statistically significant in the relationship between the traumatic experience and psychological well-being of North Korean defectors in the process of defecting from North Korea (-0.190≤Effects≤-0.064) did not contain '0', indicating that the mediating effect was significant.
