고등학생의 인지왜곡, 절망감, 우울이 자살생각에 미치는 영향 - 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 중심으로

초록

본 연구의 목적은 고등학생의 인지왜곡, 절망감, 우울, 자살생각의 인식이 어떠한지와 이들 요인간의 구조적 관계를 규명하는데 있다. 구체적으로 인지왜곡이 자살생각에 영향을 주는지, 또한 인지왜곡이 절망감과 우울에 영향을 주어 자살생각에도 영향을 주는지, 이 과정에서 사회적 지지가 조절 역할을 하는지를 알아보는 데 연구의 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 서울과 경기도에 소재하는 고등학교 학생이다. 총 2,336명에게 자살생각 여부를 조사하여 이 중에서, 자살을 생각해 본 적이 있는 학생 402명이 최종 분석대상이다. 수집한 자료는 SPSS 26과 AMOS 24.0 활용하여 기초통계분석, 확인적요인분석, 구조방정식 분석과 집단간 비교 분석 등을 수행하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인지왜곡이 높을수록 자살생각도 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 절망감이 높을수록 자살생각도 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 우울이 높을수록 자살생각도 높은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 인지왜곡이 높을수록 절망감이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 인지왜곡이 높을수록 우울이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 절망감이 높을수록 우울이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 일곱째, 인지왜곡이 절망감과 우울에 영향을 주어 자살생각에 간접효과로 정적 영향을 주었다. 여덟째, 인지왜곡, 우울, 절망감이 자살생각을 증가시키는 역할을 하였고, 사회적 지지가 조절 역할을 하였다. 인지왜곡이 자살생각에 직접 영향을 주지 않으나 우울이나 절망감을 더욱 증폭시켜 자살생각을 높여주므로 인지왜곡을 감소시키는 노력이 필요하다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the tendency of high school students' cognitive distortion, depression, hopelessness and suicidal thoughts and the structural relationship between these factors. Specifically, the purpose of this study is to investigate whether cognitive distortion affects suicide thoughts, whether cognitive distortion affects suicide thoughts by affecting depression and hopelessness, and whether social support plays a moderating role in this process. The subjects of the study are high school students based in Seoul and Gyeonggi province. A total 2,336 students were surveyed to figure out if they thought of committing suicide, and 402 students who had thought of committing suicide the final subjects of analysis. The collected data were analyzed using t-test and analysis of variance using SPSS 26 program, AMOS 24.0. The research results are as follows. First, the higher the cognitive distortion, the higher the suicide thought. Second, the higher the depression, the higher the suicide thought. Third, the higher the feeling of despair, the higher the suicidal thoughts. Fourth, the higher the cognitive distortion, the higher the depression. Fifth, the higher the cognitive distortion, the higher the despair. Sixth, the higher the despair, the higher the depression. Seventh, cognitive distortion influenced despair and depression, which had a positive effect on suicidal thoughts. Eighth, cognitive distortion, depression, and hopelessness increased suicidal thoughts and social support played a moderating role. Cognitive distortion does not directly affect suicidal thoughts, but efforts to reduce cognitive distortion are important because they increase suicidal thoughts by amplifying depression or despair.
