Abstract
This study was conducted to provide basic data for active research on domestic and international neurodiversity by analyzing domestic and foreign research trends related to autism spectrum disorder. For this purpose, papers on neurodiversity related to autism spectrum disorder published domestically and internationally from 1999 to present were collected. The collected data was analyzed by country and journal, and keyword network analysis and cluster analysis were performed using Textom and UCINET. The results of this study are as follows. First, a total of 70 studies were conducted from 2006 to 2022, and it was confirmed that studies were conducted in the UK, USA, and Korea in that order. Second, papers on neurodiversity related to autism spectrum disorder were most frequently published (43.8%) in social science journals, and were published in various fields such as medicine, humanities, and education. Third, keyword network was analyzed and visualized through keyword appearance frequency, TF-IDF, simultaneous appearance frequency, and centrality analysis. Fourth, eight clusters appeared in the keyword cluster analysis and were visualized. Based on these research results, future research directions were discussed and suggested.
