마약류 중독자의 바닥경험 강도에 따른 변화단계 차이:교정시설에 수감 중인 마약류사범을 중심으로

초록

본 연구에서는 교정시설에 수감중인 마약류사범들의 회복동기와 실천의 정도를 파악하기 위해 4개의 변화단계 집단으로 구분하였다. 이후 각 단계에 따라 바닥경험 강도의 차이가 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전국에 교정시설 8곳에서 총 206명의 수용자를 대상으로 설문을 진행했다. SOCRATES-D의 요인분석 결과 이전 연구와 동일하게 세 가지 하위요인을 도출하였고, 요인점수의 높고 낮음을 토대로 군집분석을 실시하여 총 4개의 변화단계 집단으로 구분하였다. 그 결과 실행단계집단의 비율이 가장 높았고, 전숙고단계 집단의 비율은 가장 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 각 집단별로 바닥경험 강도의 차이가 있는지 알아보기 위해 분산분석과 다항로지스틱회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 전숙고단계집단의 바닥경험강도가 다른 집단에 비해 통계적으로 유의하게 낮았으며, 다른 집단(숙고, 준비, 실천)은 전숙고집단과 비교할 때 바닥경험에 의한 유의한 차이를 보였다. 본 연구를 통해 수감되어 있는 수용자들의 변화동기와 그 변화단계를 확인할 수 있었고, 바닥경험강도와 연관성도 파악할 수 있었다. 마지막으로 제한점과 논의를 기술하고 향후 연구에 대해 제안하였다.

Abstract

In this study, drug offenders imprisoned in correctional facilities were divided into 4 groups of change stages in order to understand the motivation for recovery and the level of practice. After that, we tried to find out if there was a difference in the intensity of hitting bottom experience according to each stage. To achieve this goal, a total of 206 inmates from 8 correctional facilities across the country were surveyed. As a result of SOCRATES-D’s factor analysis, identical to previous studies, 3 sub-factors were derived, and cluster analysis was conducted based on the high and low patterns of the factor scores, and a total of 4 change stage groups were classified. In addition, ANOVA and Multinominal Logistic Regression analysis were conducted to find out whether there was a difference in the intensity of hitting bottom experience for each group, the intensity of the bottom experience in the precontemplation stage group was statistically significantly lower than that of the other groups, and the other groups (contemplation, preparation, action) showed a significant difference by intensity of hitting bottom compared to the precontemplation group. Through this study, it was possible to confirm the motives for change of prisoners in prison and the stage of change, and also to identify the relationship with the intensity of hitting bottom experience. Finally, limitations and discussions were described and suggestions for future research were made.
