The message of justification by faith is not only an article of faith among others. Its bearing is universal and actual at one and the same time. It concerns the very existence of human beings. As being Protestant and Evangelical, we are convinced that this central message of the Bible is conditioned in its truth value beyond time and space. It is therefore required of theologians in every generation to actualize its ever-valid message to his or her own existential context. In the following I would like to try it under the three categories: freedom. love and hope, which according to my view are very themes appealing to the contemporary generation.
