본 연구는 현대가족의 형태가 변화하면서 사회문제로 부상하고 있는 조손가 족의 문제를 기독교상담학적으로 해결하기 위한 방안모색으로 먼저 조손가 족의 실태 및 현재 조손가족들이 당면하고 있는 위기문제에 대해서 고찰했 다. 먼저 조손가족의 형성은 손자녀부모의 이혼 및 재혼, 실종으로 인한 가 족해체가 주요 원인으로 작용한다. 그 결과, 연로한 조부모가 손자녀를 양육 하게 되면서 경제적 빈곤문제를 위시해서 가족들의 정서적 문제, 조부모의 건강문제, 조부모와 손자녀의 세대차로 인한 심리적 갈등문제, 손자녀의 교 육및양육문제등다양하고복잡한문제에직면해있다. 이와함께조손가 족 손자녀들의 심리사회적 적응문제도 심각해서 보호와 상담이 위급한 상황 이다. 따라서 조손가족들의 생활이 조속히 안정되어 위기가 확대되지 않도 록 적극적인 지원과 상담이 요구된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 조손가족에 대한 기독교상담 방안으로 위기개입과 함께 상담과정을 심리적 안정을 위한 지지 적 상담단계, 문제파악을 위한 면담 및 평가단계, 문제해결 및 행동실행을 돕기위한단계, 지원체계모색및확대단계, 위기해결및자신감회복의치 유단계 5단계로 구분하고, 단계별로 고찰하였다. 앞으로 기독교상담 분야에 서도 조손가족에 대한 많은 연구를 통해 영적 상담을 위한 성경적 연구와 함께 구체적인 상담방안 개발을 위해 노력해야 할 것이다.
Abstract
This study examines the actual state of grandparent-grandchild families, along with the crises faced by them, which is the primary step in seeking a remedy to resolve the problem of grandparent-grandchild families on the basis of Christian crisis counseling. As the composition of the modern family has been changing, the issue of grandparent-grandchild families has emerged, which is mainly ascribed to family disorganization due to parents’ divorce, remarriage, or disappearance. There is a variety of complicated problems with grandparent-grandchild families, ranging from economic difficulties of elderly grandparents raising grandchildren to such issues as psychological scars and emotional problems, grandparents’ health problems, mental conflicts between grandparents and grandchildren caused by their generation gap, and grandchildren’s education and nurture. Moreover, the problem of grandchildren’s psychosocial adaptation is so serious that it is in urgent need of care and counseling. Positive support and counseling is required for stabilizing the life of grandparent-grandchild families lest they suffer a crisis. In this vein, there should be counseling methods and techniques to be developed also in Christian crisis counseling for the spiritual care, through a number of studies on grandparent-grandchild families.
