본 논문은 역사적 예수의 삶과 활동들과 사도 바울의 갈라디아서의 기록과사도행전 13:23-31의 바울의 복음적인 설교에 대한 묘사 사이의 연속성을 연구한다. 논문은 예수님의 설교 내용에 대한 바울의 토론들과 갈라디아서의기록과 사도행전 13:23-31의 바울의 설교에 대한 누가의 표현을 가지고 바울이 어느 정도 예수의 진리들을 적용하였는지 또는 바울이 역사적 예수의 삶과 가르침을 어느 정도 알고 있었는지를 비교하고 대조할 것이다. 이러한 토론의 결과, 논문은 특별히 바울의 초기 교리와 예수의 탄생, 요단강의 예수의 수세 사건, 제자 베드로에 의해 알려진 주의 가르침들, 그리스도의 법,“아바” 호칭, 예수의 십자가에 죽음, 예수의 부활 등을 중심으로 한 초기 그리스도교의 신학적인 실제 사이의 병행을 규명할 것이다. 본 논문은 바울이예수의 탄생부터 부활까지 역사적 예수의 삶과 가르침을 매우 잘 알고 있었다는 것과 바울이 자신의 복음적인 가르침의 신학적인 기초로서 역사적으로정확한 지식을 사용하였다는 것을 분명히 할 것이다. 바울은 갈라디아서에서 예수의 말을 직접 인용하지 않지만 그의 말과 신학은 예수 그리스도의말에 대한 정확한 해석을 통해 주의 말과 사상을 정확하게 반영하고 있다. 대조하고 비교하는 분석에 입각한 저자의 논점은 갈라디아서와 사도행전13:23-31이 초기 그리스도교의 교리와 신학적인 실제에 대한 아주 정확한 묘사라는 것이다.
Abstract
This paper studies the continuity between the life and activities of the historical Jesus and the writings of the Apostle Paul in his Epistle to the Galatians and the portrayal of Paul’s evangelical preaching as outlined in Acts 13, verses 23to 31. The paper will compare and contrast the extent to which Paul knew of the life and sayings of the historical Jesus with Paul’s discussions of the substance of Jesus’ Preaching and Paul’s application of these truths in his own writings in the Epistle to the Galatians, and Luke’s representation of Paul’s preaching in Acts 13:23 to 31. As a natural consequence of these discussions, the paper will additionally look into the parallels between the Paul’s early doctrine and the theological practice of the early Christian Church with specific focus on the birth of Jesus, the baptism of Jesus in the River Jordan, the teachings of the Lord as spread by the Disciple Peter, the law of Christ, the “Abba” title,the death of Jesus on the Cross, the resurrection of Jesus, etc. This Paper will focus on the fact that Paul was very well acquainted with the life and sayings of the historical Jesus from His birth to His resurrection and that Paul used this historically accurate knowledge as the theological basis of his evangelical communications. While Paul did not quote directly from the sayings of Jesus in the Book of Galatians, his words and theology accurately portrayed the Lord’s words and ideas through Paul’s accurate interpretation of the words of Jesus Christ. It is the Author’s contention that, based upon this contrastive and comparative analysis, both Galatians and Acts 13:23 to 31 are a true and accurate portrayal of early Christian doctrine and theological practice.
