“순진한 무슬림(Innocence of Muslims)”에 대한 무슬림들의 폭력적 저항에 대한 고찰: 이슬람신학에서의 무함마드, 성경신학적평가 그리고 선교적제언

무슬림들의 무함마드에 대한 숭배는 대단하다. 정통 이슬람에서는 무함마드 에 대한 숭배행위를 하지 않은 것이 사실이지만 그럼에도 불구하고 대다수 의 무슬림들은 무함마드를 신적 존재로 여기고 있다. 무함마드에 대한 무슬 림들의 존경은 숭배(veneration)차원이다. 무함마드는 무슬림들에 의해 지금 까지 살았던 모든 인간 가운데 가장 이상적인 인물로 여겨지고 있으며 닮아 야 할 모델로 숭배되고 있는데 이런 무함마드에 대한 비하는 신성모독으로 간주되고 있다. 본 논문에서 연구자는 무슬림들로 2012년 9월 유튜브를 통해 공개된 ‘순 진한 무슬림’ 영화를 무함마드에 대한 신성모독으로 여겨 전 세계적으로 폭 력적 저항을 일으키게 한 원인을 제공한 이슬람 신학에서의 무함마드에 대 한 가르침을 살펴보고 무함마드에 대한 성경신학적 평가를 내린 후 선교적 제언으로 논문을 마무리했다.
Abstract
An anti-Muslim film, Innocence of Muslims, which was released on YouTube on Sep., 2012. The film which portrays the prophet Muhammad as a child molester, an imbecile and a false prophet has outraged Muslims. Muslims associate great respect and veneration with the life and name of the prophet Muhammad. The deeds and sayings in the life of Islamic Prophet Muhammad-known as Sunnah-serve as a model of life-style that the Muslims are obliged to follow. The aims of this study were to analyse the Islamic teaching of the prophet Muhammad, and provide a critical analysis of Muhammad in Christian theological perspective The researcher finished his study with some suggestions for approaching Muslims and sharing the Gospel.
