창의성의 개념을 성과 중심 혹은 행위 중심적 실천으로써 독해하는 시각이 편재하다. 이의 영향은 창의적 실천을 엘리트주의적 결과물로써 국한하며, 초월적 능력을 갖춘 자와 그렇지 못한 자를 분간하는 구분 짓기에 관여하는 실상이다. 앞선 세속성은 코칭에도 만연하다. 코칭의 창의성은 훈련 혹은 전술적 지식의 다양성과 새로움으로 규명되며, 이 결과 현장을 기능적 양상으로써 독해하는 코칭의 소외가 지배적인 현실이다. 반면, 본 연구는 창의성의 개념을 비판적으로 조사하며, 코치로서 현장에서 수용할 수 있는 창의적 사고의 의미를 새롭게 고찰하는 것을 목표했다. 연구의 논의는 들뢰즈의 서술을 바탕으로 창의성의 개념을 내재성과 외재성 간의 변증법적 관계를 수용하는 ‘과정’으로써 재구축하며, 합리주의적 시각을 수용하는 코칭의 소외를 비판한다. 더 나아가 코칭의 리듬, 리더십 그리고 관찰을 중심으로 ‘현장의 창의성’을 새롭게 재해석 및 재구축한 시도를 제시한다. 이를 통해 본 연구는 다수의 이론들과 코칭 간의 공생하는 관계성을 조명하며, 코치의 창의적 사고가 현장에서 어떻게 구현될 수 있는가의 의제에 관한 비판적이며 건설적인 논의를 제공한다. 이에 따른 가치는 추후의 코칭 또는 스포츠 철학 연구에 하나의 개념적 그리고 실용적 지침서로써 제시될 수 있다.
Abstract
The anti-intellectual claim to creativity as performance-oriented is dominant. The consequence of such a mystified reading lies in delimiting any creative practice to an elitist product, thereby engaging in the distinction between those who have the transcendental ability (or capability) and those who do not. The worldly unfolding of interpretation also exists in coaching. That said, creativity in coaching has been easily delineated as novelty and diversity of what and how-to coach regimes. As a consequence, the alienated form of reading coaching as functional practices has been pervasive. Rather, this study aimed to critically explore the notion of creativity and the meanings and implications of creative practices that coaches would embrace in a situation. Specifically, drawing upon Deleuze’s lens, this article endeavored to re-specify creativity as a ‘process’ of the dialectical relationship between immanence and exteriority, while also reconstructing ‘creativity in practice’ through the discussion of rhythmicity, leadership and observation. In doing so, the findings offer a stimulating account of how creativity can be accomplished in practice by enlightening the symbiotic relation between theory and practice. The value of doing so, then, is to serve as a conceptual and practical springboard for more critical analysis of coaching.
