대학 교양교육 내 인성교육의 현황과 발전 방안: K대학교의 교양교육과정 사례를 중심으로

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the current status and development plan of character education at the level of university liberal arts education, focusing on the case of K University's liberal arts curriculum. This is meaningful in that it is related to the common direction of not only one university, but also all universities that have recognized the importance of university character education and have pursued continuous development by reflecting social trends and student needs. To this end, in this study, the progress and current status of K University's character domain curriculum and content composition were analyzed. In addition, opinion surveys were conducted to confirm students' perceptions about the course operation in the character domain and Pass/Non-Pass, which is the main evaluation method for the domain. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that K University has made efforts to cultivate character competency through reorganization of the character domain and curriculum management in response to the social trend and student demands. of strengthening university character education. In addition, as a result of the survey on the operation of the character domain, there were many requests for ensuring opportunities to choose subjects in the domain, and increasing the number of classes. At the same time, the students highly preferred the Pass/Non-Pass evaluation method in the character domain, and it needs to be supplemented while considering both the positive and negative functions. Through this study, it will be possible to check the progress and current status of university character education, and to identify educationally meaningful and useful development plans at the level of the liberal arts curriculum.
