Abstract

The problem of heresy in the Korean church is not the story of today. However, in addition to the Seowall case in 2014, as the salvation Sect is reported to the public, the social interest in the Christian heresy is increasing due to broadcasting media. As a result of examining the facts of the main heretics who continue to challenge Korean churches and expand their power while raising questions, the common features of them are the emphasis on the extreme mysticism. It was the ignorance of faith of existing believers who are interested in Bible study but can not discern false teachings, and domestic and foreign missionary strategies disguised as social service. In order to propose measures to cope with this heresy, I would like to emphasize that the church ministers, whose main responsibilities are senior ministers with a ten-year ministry period in less than 200 small churches in the metropolitan area in 2015, 259 questionnaire results were analyzed. As a result, in the Orthodox Christianity field, the minister who has the evangelism ability such as relational evangelism, the street evangelism(an indefinite evangelism), the evangelism explosion training is the most favored, while the preference for the minister with the education and sermon competence is the lowest. As a way for Korean churches to cope with the continuing growth of heresies, I would like to emphasize that instead of focusing on the quantitative and physical growth centered around the local churches like the heresies, that the improvement of biblical education and normalization of catechesis. It suggests practical administration and management of SeniorSunday school centered around the prime-aged.
