隋 文帝 시기 突厥政策 ― 長孫晟의 책략을 중심으로 ―

Yang jian(陽堅), who was working for the North-zhou, stroke this empire and constructed his own Kingdom called by Sui. When he built Sui dynasty there were many enimies from all directions. At north-east side of Sui, Turks exercised their authority, and they threatened Sui. So Yang jian picked out Zhang sunsheng(長孫晟) who had a thorough knowledge of Gokturk. Zhang sunsheng offered gimmicky ideas to weaken Turks and they were very successful. By Zhang sunsheng's dark designs, Turkish empire were collapsed and finally brought momentary stability between Sui dynasty and Turkic khanates. During this period Zhang sunsheng visited eastern Turkic khanates many times to nomalize the relations by removing destabilizing elements. On this wise, between Sui dynasty and Turkic khanates, Zhang sunsheng was a decisive role.
