For explanation, this paper revealed who made blackguard and what meaning and relationship with the novel it has in a domestic novel. Devil in a domestic novel seems to be formulated through characters with two axes. One point of view perceives devil as innate, the other does acquired. Formers appeared in most domestic novels as devels(blackguard); step mother, second wife and concubine. These characters posses devil’s tendency. So any changes of characteristics can hardly be found in the process of the story. They keep their inborn characteristics. The other side, in the case of the latter characters show the changes of characteristics. The inborn characteristics of these characters are formulated as good. Their nature is good but deceived by a certain opportunity and behave in a bad way. But this bad behavior is just temporary so doesn't work as cause of becoming blackguard; husband, father, son and etc. On screening both bad and non-bad characters, there are some specific items found. Common conditions exist in both cases, behave badly but become non-bad characters are subjects in a family but in case of devil characters are new comers who are invited in order to formulate family; husband, son, and father will be existed subjects but step mother, second wife and concubine are added who are invited to put in an empty member of the family. In the context of this side, the blackguard of a domestic novel seems to be reflected by loss & gain and requirements. The story teller also agrees with a point of view from existed family members in the master piece. Devils appeared in a domestic novel are perceived as trouble makers in a family so as to be erased. The story teller never gives the opportunity to be changed to blackguard because they are erased by story teller. A domestic novel punishes the blackguard to keep family safe. The reason why added characters become blackguard seems to be that they can hardly be applied to the existed family members' loss & gain and requirements, they die because they are recognized as trouble makers in a family. In this way, a domestic novel is a master piece showing the will power to protect a family. The phenomenon that this kind of works are republished reflects that readers also agree with this kind of view point.
