학회지 분석을 통한 한국의 교육사 연구 동향

Abstract

This study aims to examine the research trends of the history of education by Journal analysis of two History of Education Society in Korea. Total of 499 papers which were published in two academic journals; The Korean Journal of History of Education(The Korean Society for History of Education) and History of Education(The Society for History of Education). At first, the framework for analyizing research trends is suggested as a result of literature review. And then two academic journals have been analyzed by the criteria of period, region, and the Contents by using of the framework. The research findings are as follows. First, the Joseon Dynasty period has been studied mostly(about 27.6%) in terms of the Periods. And the Liberation period before and after 1990s, and the Japanese Colonization period in the late 2000s are ranked by the frequency of the studies. Second, according to region, approximately 3/4 of the papers have studied about Korea, and more than 90% of the papers was compiled by the Asian-related studies. Since 1990s, the study of the region of South Korea has been increasing. Third, related to content, the history of Educational Thoughts has been researched mostly(38.5%), and are ranked the history of Educational System and History of Pedagogics nextly. Specifically, as a result of research trends of content, the textbooks and teaching methods of the traditional period and ordinary life on the educational and cultural history have been rapidly increased since 1990's. Fourth, comparing with the tendencies of two journals, a periodical study proportion of the After the Liberation and the Whole Historical papers at The Korean Journal of History of Education is higher than History of Education. The Korean Journal of History of Education is dealing with foreign research papers widely about Japan or Western countries and so on.
