원자력 관련 에너지 교육 방안을 마련하는데 필요한 시사점을 얻고자 초등학교 교사들의 원자력 인식을 설문을 통해 분석하였다. 초등학교 교사들의 원자력에 대한 지식수준은 일반 대중들과 비슷한 수준을 보이고 있었으며, 원자력에 대한 지식 수준이 높지 않았다. 또한 원전의 안전성에 대해 다소 불안하다는 인식을 가지고 있으며, 관련된 언론 보도에 대해서도 크게 신뢰하지 않았다. 교사들은 원자력 발전의 장점에 대해 인식하고 있으나, 위험도에 대한 불안으로 인해 미래 에너지로서 바람직하다고 생각하지 않았다.
Abstract
The conception about atomic energy of elementary school teachers were surveyed and analyzed for the acquirement of suggestion in developing energy instruction program. The atomic energy related knowledge level of elementary school teachers is not so high and is similar to that of public people. The teachers in elementary shool have the conception that the safety of power generation from nuclear plants is suspenseful, also show not so high reliance to the media. They recognize the strong points of atomic power generation, while do not recommend it as a future energy source because of the uncertainty related with the safety.
