사회복지사의 역량모델링에 근거한 학부 교과과정 발전 방향 모색

초록

본 연구의 목적은 사회복지사 업무 수행을 위해 필요한 역량이 무엇인지를 규명하고 사회복지사의 역량모델링에 근거하여 학부 사회복지 교과과정의 발전 방향을 모색하고자 함에 있다. 지역사회전문가 의견조사(13명) 및 사회복지사 설문조사(218명)를 실시하였는데, 최종 추출된 핵심 역량들을 지식, 기술, 가치 및 태도 영역으로 나누어 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지식역량은 인간과 환경, 관련 정책과 법, 실천이론, 사회복지행정 등의 이해가 제시되었다. 둘째로, 기술역량으로 개별․집단실천, 관계 및 협력, 지역사회실천, 사례관리, 프로그램 개발과 평가, 조사 및 연구, 행정 및 관리 등의 기술이 제시되었다. 셋째, 가치 및 태도 역량으로 전문가적 속성, 자기관리능력, 조직 및 업무중심, 윤리 및 고객중심, 기초공통능력 등이 제시되었다. 이의 결과를 근거로 하여 학부의 사회복지 교과과정에 대한 발전 방향을 모색하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify necessary competencies for social workers' performance, and to explore undergraduate social welfare program's curriculum development, based on competency modeling. As the methodology, after a panel research with 13 senior social workers and a survey with 218 social workers in the community, the data were analyzed and organized as knowledge, skills and value/attitude areas for the final outcome, the core competencies. As the result, first, in the knowledge area, understanding about human/environment, policies/laws about social welfare, social work practice theory, and social work administration were found. Second, the skills' area included individual and group work, relationship/cooperation, community organization, case management, program development/evaluation, survey/research, and administration/management. Lastly, value/attitude area was composed of professional property, self-management as an expert, organization/task centered mind, ethics/client oriented attitude, and basic common competencies. According to the results, strengthening the curriculum and teaching contents for the undergraduate social welfare program were suggested as curriculum development.
