사회연결망 분석을 활용한 관광분야 회복탄력성 연구동향 분석

초록

본 연구는 국내 관광분야의 회복력 관련 연구의 연구동향을 파악하기 위하여 사회연결망분석 방법을 활용하여 실시하였다. 사회연결망분석은 특정 연구자의 관점이나 이론적 배경을 제한하지 않고 분석된 텍스트에 제시된 단어와 사회연결망분석에 포함된 개념 사이의 관계를 통해 전체 내용을 포괄적으로 식별하는 객관적 분석을 제공할 수 있는 장점이 있기 때문이다. 따라서 본 연구는 국내 관광분야의 회복탄력성에 대한 심층 논문을 검토하여 관광분야 회복탄력성의 연구 동향을 파악하고 핵심 키워드에 포함된 개념의 의미와 관계를 파악함으로써 향후 회복탄력성에 대한 새로운 연구 방향을 제시하고자 하는 목표에서 출발하였다. 이에 본 연구는 학술연구정보서비스(www.riss.kr) 통해 2011년부터 2020년까지 국내에서 게제 된 회복탄력성 관련 연구논문 총 37편(국내학술논문 29편, 학위논문 8편)을 분석대상으로 실시되었다. 국내 관광분야 회복탄력성 관련 연구의 분석은 학술연구정보서비스에서 제공하고 있는 서지정보를 활용하여 기술통계분석을 실시하였고 논문저자가 제시한 98개의 핵심키워드를 바탕으로 사회연결망분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구는 관광분야 국내학술논문과 학위논문의 회복탄력성 관련 논문의 핵심키워드를 바탕으로 그간의 연구방법과는 다르게 사회연결망분석을 이용하여 연구동향을 분석하였다는 부분에서 의미가 있다. 본 연구를 통해 도출한 연구결과는 국내 회복탄력성 관련 연구의 동향을 종합적이고 유기적으로 파악할 수 있으며, 향후 관광분야 회복탄력성 후속연구의 방향을 설정하는데 일정부분 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다. 또한, 본 연구의 결과는 사회연결망 분석을 통하여 핵심키워드 간의 연결정도를 파악할 수 있으며, 내용분석 방법으로는 한계가 있었던 핵심키워드 간의 구조적 관계를 알기 쉽게 시각화하였다는 부분에서 그간의 연구동향 연구방법을 대체하는 연구방법론으로 활용하기에 적절하다고 사료된다. 게다가 연구동향 연구에 있어서 단순히 단일 연구방법론에 치중되기 보다는 사회연결망분석과 내용분석을 복합적으로 활용한다면 연구동향 연구가 보다 폭넓은 시각에서 의미 있는 연구결과를 도출할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Abstract

This research was conducted using social network analysis methods in order to grasp the trends in research on resilience in the domestic tourism field. Social network analysis has the advantage of providing objective analysis that comprehensively identifies the whole content through the relationship between the words presented in the analyzed text and the concepts contained in the social network analysis. Therefore, this research started with the goal of presenting a new direction for future research on recovery elasticity by reviewing in-depth papers on the resilience of domestic tourism, understanding trends in the recovery elasticity of tourism, and understanding the meaning and relationship of concepts. The research was conducted by the Academic Research Information Service (www.riss.kr) on 37 research papers (29 domestic academic papers and 8 degree papers) published in Korea from 2011 to 2020. The analysis of the resilience-related research in the domestic tourism sector was based on bibliographic information provided by the academic research information service and social network analysis based on 98 key words presented by the author. This research is meaningful in that it analyzes research trends using social network analysis, based on the key keywords of domestic scientific and diploma papers in the tourism field. The results of this study can comprehensively and organically grasp trends in domestic recovery elasticity, and are expected to help set the direction for future research on recovery elasticity in the tourism field. In addition, the results of this study can be used as an alternative research methodology in that the structural relationship between core keywords, which was limited by the content analysis methodology, is easy to understand. Furthermore, rather than simply focusing on a single research methodology, using social network analysis and content analysis together can lead to meaningful research results from a broader perspective.
