Abstract
With the recent emergence of drones as a next-generation transportation in urban areas, various technologies are being developed for the commercialization of UAM(Urban Air Mobility) and AAM(Advanced Air Mobility), and real-time navigation and positioning technologies are being developed as key technologies for the safe operation of AAM drones. In particular, diverse research is being conducted to accurately estimate the relative position of AAM drones by matching aerial images taken by AAM with high-precision spatial data based on feature points, enabling real-time navigation and positioning of AAM drones in urban areas where GNSS(Global Navigation Satellite System) is unavailable. This study proposes a variety of training data generation methods that integrate aerial/satellite images, real-world images, and virtual images to efficiently extract building objects as feature points required for the matching process between AAM aerial images and high-precision geospatial data. We then present performance analysis results using our training data. Finally, when using training and evaluation data generated by processing domestic real-world aerial photographs, such as the AI-Hub land cover map, we found that YOLOv8s-seg and YOLOv11s-seg-based semantic segmentation achieved F1-scores above 0.7, demonstrating the effectiveness of our training data in extracting building objects.
