초록

본 연구는 국내에서는 아직 덜 알려진 자문화기술지 연구방법을 소개하고 사회복지연구에 있어서의 가치와 적용을 탐색하기 위한 목적으로 2인 이상의 연구자가 수행하는 공동자문화기술지 연구방법을 사용하였다. 자문화기술지는 자서전적인 요소와 문화기술지적 요소가 혼합된 질적연구방법으로 자기 내러티브를 소재로 하여 사회문화적 맥락과 연결지어 반영적인 글쓰기를 사용하는 체계적이고 사회학적인 자기성찰적인 연구방법이다. 자문화기술지에 관한 여러 문헌들을 토대로 자문화기술지의 철학적 및 학문적 배경, 자문화기술지 연구 동향, 자문화기술지의 방법적 특징과 연구과정, 윤리적 고려사항, 자문화기술지의 장점과 한계들을 탐색하였으며, 이러한 탐색과정에서 두 연구자의 성찰과 변화해가는 과정을 자문화기술지적 방법으로 풀어내었다. 그리고 사회복지연구에서의 자문화기술지의 적용과 가치를 자기 내러티브를 통한 사회복지사의 자기인식의 증진, 환경속의 인간에 대한 이해, 민감한 이슈들에 대한 연구기회의 확대, 공감과 치유적 효과를 통한 변화의 추구와 사회정의 실현이라는 네 가지로 도출하였다.

Abstract

We have studied to explore the value and how to apply autoethnography in Social Work Research, which is new in Korea, using collaborative autoethnography research method. Through the study, we have found 4 meanings of applying autoethnography in Social Work Research such as increasing of Social Workers’ self-awareness using self-narratives, understanding of person in environment, extending accessability of study on sensitive issues, and pursuing social changes and justice through empathy and therapeutic effect. We found these meanings as we share our experiences of getting to know autoethnography, especially the history, philosophical background, procedure, and ethical issues of autoethnography, based on relative literatures.
