장애 대학생의 취업준비도 특성:비장애 대학생 집단과의 비교를 중심으로

이 연구는 우리나라 장애 대학생들의 취업준비도에 있어서의 특징과 요구를 비장애 대학생들과의 비교를 통하여 살펴보고자 하였다. 대학은 향후 취업을 위한 중요한 시기이므로 이들이 가진 독특한 진로 및 취업준비도의 특성을 파악하여 진로상담 및 교육에 활용하는 일은 중요하다. 이를 위하여 수도권 대학에 재학 중인 72명의 장애를 지닌 대학생들을 대상으로 개발된 취업준비도검사를 실시하였으며 비장애 대학생들과의 비교분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 5개의 척도에 있어 두 집단 간에 총 22개의 하위요인들 중 14개에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 진로발달, 진로미결정, 진로의사결정 척도에서는 비장애 집단에 비해 높은 요인점수를 보인 반면, 실제적인 취업탐색 및 실행에 관련된 진로탐색, 취업준비행동 척도에서는 비장애 집단보다 낮은 요인점수를 보였다. 또한 동일한 취업준비도검사로 두 집단을 검사하였기 때문에 요인구조, 요인부하량, 측정절편 등에 대하여 다집단 분석을 통한 집단 동질성 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 진로미결정 척도를 제외한 다른 척도들에서 요인구조와 요인부하량은 두 집단 간에 동등하다고 볼 수 있었다. 이는 장애 대학생 집단에 대하여 비장애 대학생을 대상으로 개발된 취업준비도 검사의 기존 요인구조와 요인부하량을 동일하게 적용할 수 있음을 의미한다. 그러나 측정절편 동질성에 있어서는 모든 척도에 대하여 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었는데, 이는 장애 대학생 집단을 대상으로 하는 별도의 규준이 필요함을 시사한다. 본 연구결과가 장애 대학생의 진로상담 및 교육에 주는 시사점과 향후 과제 등이 논의되었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the career preparation characteristics of Korean college students with disabilities. According to preceeding research with regard to the career preparation and job search behavior research for the students with disabilities, they have unique needs that include not only internal but also external factors. Thus, these needs should be considered when it comes to establish and implement career education as well as counseling in their university lives. Importantly, it is very important to compare the career preparation characteristics and needs of the students with disabilities with the students without disabilities because we need to reflect different factors on the assessment tools and on the counseling. For this goal, 74 college students were sampled and had their career preparation tested, then were compared to the test data of the students without disabilities that was previously tested. The test was developed formerly for the college students without disabilities and composed of 5 scales (each scale has 1 to 6 sub-factors). The result showed that the students with disabilities had different characteristics and needs ranging from 1 to 5 scales and sub-factors. Independent sample t-test for the each question indicated significant differences in 14 sub-factors of all (22) factors. Also, multiple group analysis revealed that these two groups can hold in common the factor constructs organizing the test, but the norm for the students with disabilities need to be developed that can reflect their characteristics. Limitations and implications for the research and practice were discussed.
