소년원학교 학생의 아동기 외상경험이 부적응적 인지적 정서조절에 미치는 영향: 부정적 자동적 사고의 매개효과

초록

본 연구는 소년원학교 학생들의 아동기 외상경험이 부적응적 인지적 정서조절에 이르게 되는 과정에서 부정적 자동적 사고와 자아탄력성이 매개하는지를 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 K시 소재의 남자소년원 학교와 여자소년원 학교인 총 두 기관에 각각 재원 중인 전체 남녀 학생 215명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였으며, 최종적으로는 167명의 자료를 분석하였다. 측정도구로는 한국판 아동 외상 질문지(K-CTQ), 부적응적 인지적 정서조절 척도(MCERQ), 자아탄력성 척도(ERS), 한국판 아동 청소년용 자동적사고 척도(K-CATS)를 사용하였다. 수집한 자료는 SPSS 25.0, Macro 2.15 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 단순회귀분석과 다중회귀분석을 통해 검증한 결과, 아동기 외상경험은 부정적 자동적 사고에 정적으로 유의한 영향을 미치며, 부정적 자동적 사고는 부적응적 인지적 정서조절에 정적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 간접효과 검증 결과, 부정적 자동적 사고는 아동기 외상경험과 부적응적 인지적 정서조절 간의 관계를 완전 매개하였다. 그러나 자아탄력성은 아동기 외상경험과 부적응적 인지적 정서조절 간의 관계를 매개하지 못하였다. 본 연구를 통해 소년원학교 학생의 아동기 외상경험이 부정적 자동적 사고를 매개로 하여 부적응적 인지적 정서조절에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the mediating effects of negative automatic thoughts on the impact of childhood traumatic experience on maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation of juveniles. The total of participants was 167 boys and girls who registered at two juvenile youth detention centers. The K-CTQ, MCERQ and K-CATS were used and data were analyzed with the SPSS 25.0 and Macro 2.15 program. Childhood traumatic experience showed statically significant effect on negative automatic thoughts, negative automatic thoughts demonstrated statically significant effect on maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation. The negative automatic thoughts fully mediated the relationship between childhood traumatic experience and maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation. It demonstrated that childhood traumatic experience influence maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation through negative automatic thinking in juveniles in youth detention facilities.
