동래학춤에 담긴 풍격(風格)의 미(美)

동래학춤은 동래 지역 덧배기춤의 한 유형으로, 학의 거동과 동래 지역의 독특한 지형 등이 춤으로 반영되어 만들어진 것이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 동래학춤의 풍격의 미를 사공도(837∼908)가 지은 『이십사시품』(二十四詩品)에 세 가지 측면에서 분석하여 풍격의 미의 양상들을 제시해 보았다. 동래학춤의 풍격의 미를 『이십사시품』에서 소개된 충담(沖澹), 표일(飄逸), 고고(高古)로 들 수 있다. 또한 충담에서는 일자 사위(一字사위)를, 표일에서는 활갯짓 뜀사위(날음새), 고고(高古)에서는 소쿠리 사위를 통해 동래학춤의 풍격의 미를 제시해 보았다. 이러한 분석과정을 통해 다음과 같은 사항들을 알 수 있었다. 첫째, 동래학춤의 풍격의 미는 선비를 지향하는 충담의 미이다. 일자사위에서 보이는 선비의 모습에서 춤담의 풍격 미를 볼 수 있다. 둘째, 하늘을 비상하는 표일(飄逸)의 미이다. 활갯짓 뜀사위(날음새)에서 볼 수 있는데 표연히 허공을 향해 날아가는 모습에서 풍격을 표일에서 볼 수 있다. 셋째, 고고한 학춤의 고고(高古)의 미이다. 학의 고고한 자태를 풍격있게 담겨져 있다고 할 수 있다. 세속을 초월하여 고상하고 고풍스러움이 있다. 큰 소쿠리를 받히고 있는 무태(舞態)를 하고 걸어가는 춤사위는 흐트러짐 없는 학의 고고하고 기품있는 모습을 나타난다. 본 연구에서는 우선 동래학춤의 풍격의 미를 충담, 표일, 고고(高古)의 미학 범주로 구분하여 동래학춤의 춤사위에 반영되어 있음을 밝혔다. 첫째, 선비를 지향하는 몸짓의 아름다움 둘째, 허공을 향해 날아가는 자태 셋째, 흐트러짐이 없이 속세를 초월하는 신선다운 풍격을 분류하고 각각의 양상들을 제시하였다.
Abstract
Dongraehak dance is a type of dutbaegi dance in Dongrae area and it reflects the behavior of a crane and unique topography of Dongnae. This study shows the aesthetics of appearance by analyzing the aesthetics of appearance in Dongraehak dance by three aspects, which are suggested in 『Twenty-four Poems』 made by Sagongdo(837∼908). The aesthetics of appearance in Dongraehak dance are clear, antique, which are introduced in 『Twenty-four Poems』. Also this study suggests the aesthetics through linear motion in clear, swaggering motion in antique and a bamboo basket motion in antique. The following can be known through this analysis process. First, the aesthetics of appearance in Dongraehak dance is a beauty of clear oriented a classical scholar. It can be seen in a classical scholar with linear motion. Second, it is a beauty of antique soaring up to the sky. It can be seen in soaring behavior of swaggering motion. Third, it is a beauty of proud loneliness of a crane dance. It contains a proud loneliness of a crane, and gentility by rising above the world. A bamboo basket motion shows dignified figure of a crane which does not have a hair outofplace. The study determines that the aesthetics of appearance in Dongraehak dance is reflected in the motion of Dongraehak dance as clear, antique and proud of loneliness. Also, this classifies a beauty of motion oriented a classical scholar, soaring behavior and a figure like taoist hermit with miraculous powers rising above the world and suggests each aspect.
