한국무용기록에 있어서 호흡 표기에 관한 의미론과 전개방향 모색

Abstract

A record of the Korean dance now goes forward to a considerable development. The purpose of this study states about the relative difference of the Korean Dance from the Western Dance in the semantics, and focuses on the recording perspective. Then, this study emphasizes that more delicate record is necessary for an emotion and a thought of the Korean Dance. That is, this study states the importance on the semantics and the making method of breathes. The breath marks for the Korean Dance throughly annalize on a structure of a skeleton and detailed muscular movement for each movement. Simultaneously, the measurable recognition on energy, strength and others is a necessary work to go through for a scientific study of dancing movement. Also, the modern digital method, for instance, the motion capture is difficult to express the thoughts of five elements reflected on the dancing way, the philosophy of the positive and negative, an interaction with the universe through breaths, and the directivity of the spirit contained in Dance. On the other way, an expression on a frame and structure of movements in Korean Dance is possible. However the true Body(internal spiritual thought) is difficult to be represented. Accordingly, the ideal goal is to digitalize Dance, to make the motion capture with a computer, to establish the symbolic system to represent the spirit of the Dance and to synthesize these works in the process.
