경산 양지리 유적 1호 목관묘 출토 칠기의 과학적 조사

원삼국 시대의 유적으로 알려진 경산 양지리 1호 목관묘의 요갱 내부에서 출토된 칠기4점의 과학적 조사를 실시하여 제작기법과 재질을 확인하였다. 1호 목관묘 요갱 내부에서 출토된 칠기는 목재와 금속 등이 복합된 재질이었고, 이에 재질별 특성에 맞는 조사를 실시하였다. X선을 이용한 비파괴조사를 통해서 동모의 모양이 긴세형인 것과 동과초 표면에 장식된 동전이 오수전인 것을 확인하였다. 동모를 포함한 금속금구와 동과초의 표면의 오수전의 주요성분은 모두 납(Pb)을 포함한 청동이었으며, 주조법으로 제작되었다. 4점의 칠기의 표면성분을 분석한 결과 기존에 연구된 옻칠시료에서 나타나는 스펙트럼과 성분들이 일치하여 옻칠을 사용한것을 알 수 있었다. 칠층의 단면을 조사한 결과 공통적으로 바탕칠층 없이 목재 위에 바로 칠을한 것으로 나타났으며, 미세한 불순물이 포함되어 있었다. 본 연구는 원삼국 시대 출토 칠기의과학적 조사를 통해 제작기법을 확인한 것으로 고대칠기법 연구에 기초데이터로 사용될 것으로 보인다.
Abstract
In this paper, the four lacquerware excavated from the burial floor fit of the Yangji-riNo. 1 wooden coffin was analyzed to confirm the manufacturing techniques and materials. Thelacquerware was made of wood and metal, therefore, and we analyzed the lacquerware based on theits constituent materials characteristics. We found that the coins decorating the surface of the bronzehalberd were Wu Zhu Chinese coins and that the bronze spearhead was long and narrow by X-raybased on non-destructive investigations. Also, Wu Zhu Chinese coins and bronze spearhead are consistsof leaded bronze and were produced by casting. The lacquer layer of the surface of four lacquerware was composed of common lacquer ingredientsand applied directly to the wood without a base lacquer layer. This study provides basic data for studieson ancient lacquer techniques.
