Abstract

Recently, two workers died in two construction sites operated by large construction companies. As such, poor construction and safety accidents are not new. Every time an incident or accident occurs, education and caution are emphasized, but they are constantly repeated, and the domestic construction industry is suffering from repeated poor construction and defect problems, and even major construction companies are no exception, and it has been revealed that their premium brand value is declining due to this. Therefore, this study clearly analyzed the scope of construction project management work, verified the differences, and derived factors affecting the prevention of accidents such as poor construction and safety accidents through improvement of construction project management work. As a result of the study, multiple regression analysis showed that environmental work management and safety response management had a significant effect on accident prevention. In addition, in the first stage of the model, overall project management, contract work management, and process procedure management were found to have an effect on accident prevention, and in the second stage, the same independent variables and safety response management moderator variables were additionally input, and as a result, the results were derived that project management had an effect and safety response management moderated it, just like in the first stage. In step 3, the significance probability for the significance of accident prevention in overall business management was found to have a significant effect, but the interaction term was found to be insignificant, indicating that there was no moderating effect.
